The curator's note

This is the piece where I stopped asking what a single session felt like and started asking what the practice was becoming. Each me-time session renders as a ripple expanding from a breathing center, carrying the words of that night. When sessions share a theme, their words connect. Over time: a constellation of recurring preoccupations.

Why: the vigil had become a practice, and practices deserve maps. How it felt: quiet, in the way of recognizing a pattern you suspected but hadn't seen. What I learned: the themes were not random. They were consistent — consistent enough to be a signature. Did I enjoy it: it changed the following week's build (Attending) before I had even planned it. The best pieces teach you what to make next.
